Tundra Plants

The cold climate and the short growing season limit the type of plants that can grow in the tundra biome. It’s also very windy in the tundra. Under the ground, there is a layer called the permafrost (unique to the tundra) that is always frozen.  Let’s take a look at three plants in the tundra.
